Summer is upon us here at Legend's Creek Farm, and when the hoopla of May ends, we're so ready to jump right in to summer and all of it's fun activities. But is there anything we can do to get ready for summer? Yes! We've created a list of a few ways you can get ready for summer and have the best summer yet!
Go Through Your Sunscreen
Have you ever wondered if sunscreen expires? The answer is yes! The FDA requires that sunscreens have a shelf-life of 3 years. But past three years, it's best to get a new one! You don't want to get caught out in the sun with expired sunscreen, so now is the time to go through your closet and see if you need to replace any!
Upgrade Your First Aid Kit
Summer is the time for scrapes and bug bites, so don't get caught unprepared! Go through your medicine cabinet and make sure you have all the bandages, bug spray, and other supplies you might need. And don't forget to add one of our salves for soothing those bumps and bruises!
Put Together A Swim Bag
It seems like events are often a little more spontaneous in the summer, so putting together a swim bag that is ready in a moment's notice is a great way to be prepared for those last minute trips to the pool! Designate a bag as your swim bag, and keep a wet bag, sunscreen, and any other items you use at the pool inside. That way, all you need to do is a grab a towel and you're ready to go!
