A few things to note about these products: 

Body butter will melt in temperatures over 90 degrees and can become "unwhipped", making the product firmer, and the jar less filled if left in a very hot environment. The product is still great and works just the same but it won't be as light and airy and you won't have a full jar.  We highly recommend keeping it in a cool, dark place and out of direct sunlight. We are not responsible if you live in a hot climate or if the product melts in the mail but we do our best to make sure it goes right from our farm to the local post office without sitting around in the heat all day. Many producers use unnecessary chemicals to keep body butter from melting, but we do not. 

During summer months we will ship every jar of body butter in an insulated envelope with ice packs to help prevent it from melting. Please do not have us ship this to a location where it will sit in a hot mailbox all day or on a hot porch because it will melt even with ice packs. Please make sure you are home to receive the shipment if weather is hot. Due to Covid-19 materials shortages we cannot offer to reship any of our body butter products to customers who experience melting and the customer takes full responsibility.  You may file a claim with the USPS if you feel that your package was mishandled and your item melted but they will inspect the package and you must hold on to it.  You can "rewhip" your body butter very easily and the end result will be a full size jar as it was when we shipped it to you. Simply microwave it until melted and then pour it into a mixer bowl. Once it comes to room temp and solidifies, whip on high speed with the whipping attachment. Once whipped you can use a spatula to put it back into the jar. We ask that customers work with us on these issues until business returns to normal, or do not order the body butter at all. We will not issue refunds for melted body butter.
