Escape To The Beach
The beach vacation is a classic trope of summer, and for good reason! There is nothing like relaxing in the sun or playing in the water on a hot day. For those who like a more thrilling vacation, you can add surfing, parasailing, or other fun activities. So, let's hit the beach! Grab a hat, towel, sunscreen, and swimsuit (and a good book!) and get to it.
Run To The Mountains
If hot weather, water, and sand aren't your thing, a mountain vacation might be for you. For those seasoned campers, a tent or trailer might be the answer, or if you're looking for an elevated experience, cabins and lodges are a great bet. Generally you'll be somewhere a bit cooler, and be surrounded by a different kind of beauty - tall pine trees, beautiful flowers, and blue skies. There might even be a river or lake to kayak on. Sounds heavenly!
Stay-Cation For The Win
Sometimes we don't have the time and/or funds for a full getaway. That's where a stay-cation can come into play. Whether you sleep at home or in a hotel down the road, there's plenty to explore right in your hometown. Walk down Main Street, eat at a restaurant you haven't been to before, visit the zoo or the pool; or go to a spa! There are plenty of things to do right under your nose!
