There is a global shortage of raw materials for our products as well as on bottles/caps/pumps. Apparently, many companies were formed to try and capitalize on Covid-19 by making hand sanitizer and unfortunately we have had to make some changes to keep our products on the market. Lotion pumps are sold out globally and our suppliers do not expect them back in stock until next year so we switched to disc top caps which are easier to make and have a larger supply.

We assure you this change was not made voluntarily –  We tried alerting customers to this by sending out an e-mail to our existing customers in late March, re-taking as many product photos as we could, and changing images on the website. We plan on returning back to packaging these products with pumps as soon as they become available again, and hope that this coincides with our broader plans for repackaging later this year to a plastic bottle alternative, but our many suppliers have given no indication of when they think they will be available again.

We do understand that many customers prefer pumps (and so do we), but this is out of our control. If you experience trouble removing lotion from the bottles due to hand strength issues we encourage you to tip the bottle upside-down while the cap is closed and tap the cap lightly on a solid surface. This will cause the lotion to drop toward the cap and upon opening the cap it will come out with even the lightest of squeezes. We know this may be an inconvenience for you, but we appreciate your understanding during this challenging time.  We are doing everything we can to get back to normal and hope our customers stay healthy and safe.
